Description
These long-term catheters have been the standard of critical care in human medicine for many years. The catheters are placed in the jugular vein using a technique called Seldinger. It uses a guide wire system.
– Non-reactive polyurethane catheter: can be left in place for extended use i.e. 3-4 weeks.
– Single, double or even triple lumen catheters of various lengths: allows administration concurrently of different IV medications
