Description
Safil is a violet dyed precision-braided and coated synthetic suture made from pure polyglycolic acid.

Safil is degraded by hydrolysis, providing predictable and reliable absorption. Safil maintains 50 percent of its initial tensile strength after 18 days and is fully absorbed after 90 days.
